JOHN'S VISION

IF ELECTED JOWN VOWS TO BE GUIDED BY THE FOLLOWING

The United States was founded on a simple yet profound promise: that all people are created equal, that government exists only by the consent of the governed, and that unalienable rights; life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, must never be surrendered to power or privilege. The Declaration of Independence set the moral compass; the Constitution built the framework to protect it; and the Bill of Rights guaranteed that no individual would ever be too small to be heard, and no government too large to be questioned.


But somewhere along the way, we lost our way. Power has concentrated in the hands of the few. Political parties and corporate interests have replaced the voice of the people. The checks and balances that once defined our system have eroded under partisanship, career politics, and bureaucratic self-preservation. The very government designed to serve the people has become one that serves itself first.


John's vision is to restore the United States to the principles that made it extraordinary, a nation of laws, not rulers; of opportunity, not entitlement; of courage, not complacency. We must return to a government that listens, that acts with integrity, and that protects freedom not as a slogan but as a sacred trust.


The path forward is not about left or right...it is about returning to first principles:

  • That truth and accountability must guide those in power.
  • That individual liberty and responsibility are the foundation of progress.
  • That the Constitution is not a suggestion...it is the contract between the people and their government.


In the words of the Declaration itself:

“Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”


It’s time to rebuild that consent, to make America once again a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

I. FOUNDATION: Define the Mission and Values

Core Objective: Reignite America’s commitment to the principles in the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights, a government of laws, not of parties.


Key Commitments:

  • Run as an Independent, free from the political corruption of both major parties.
  • Accept no funds from individuals or entities generating over $1 million in annual revenue... ensuring integrity, not influence, drives the campaign.
  • Remain neutral on divisive social issues; focus solely on restoring balance, accountability, and prosperity.
  • Frame the campaign as a citizen movement, not a politician’s crusade.


Founding Quotes:

  • “Whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it…” - Declaration of Independence
  • “The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.” - Ninth Amendment

II. MOVEMENT: Build the Independent Coalition

 Objective: Unite disillusioned Americans under a banner of trust, balance, and constitutional fidelity.


Actions:

Form the “First Principles Coalition” - a nonpartisan network of citizens from any background  who believe government should work like a well-run system: accountable, transparent, and resilient.


Recruit independent candidates for every federal seat (House and Senate) who pledge to:

  • Uphold the Constitution above party.
  • Support impeachment of any official violating constitutional limits.
  • Enact reforms preventing power consolidation in any branch of government.


Create a volunteer infrastructure across states to identify local Independent voices and mentor them through campaign formation.

III. RESTORATION: Structural Reform and Constitutional Reinforcement

Objective: Institutionalize long-term protection of first principles through amendment and accountability.


Actions:

Federal Level:

  • Build a 66-seat Independent bloc in the Senate and 300 in the House to hold impeachment authority and legislative reform power.
  • Prioritize impeachment or removal of any official, executive, judicial, or legislative, who has violated their oath.
  • Enact term limits across all branches.
  • Prohibitions on gerrymandering at every level of government.
  • Protection of nonpartisan institutions and judicial independence.
  • Explicit protections from induvial making making 100x the median income and large organizations from having undue influence on our republic.
  • Campaign finance and influence limits.


State Level:

  • Encourage Independents to run for every state legislature to this movement to propose and ratify new constitutional amendments.
  • Amendments needed to clarify emergency powers, congressional war powers, judicial ethics, congressional ethics.
  • Amendments needed abolish the electoral college, ensure no taxation without representation, self-pardoning & corrupt pardons.
  • Amendments needed to dictate mandatory financial divestiture, secure right to vote, supreme court term limits and classes (similair to the 1/3 class designation of the senate), term limits for congress. 

IV. EXPANSION: Economic Renewal for the Majority

Objective: Focus all legislative and messaging priorities on improving the economic well-being of America’s working and middle classes...the median-income majority.


Economic Equity:

  • Tax and regulatory simplification benefiting small businesses and wage earners.
  • Incentivize U.S.-based production and innovation through measurable, performance-based policies.

Infrastructure for Opportunity:

  • Invest in education, trades, and apprenticeships...not ideology.
  • Reinforce technological and energy independence.

Fiscal Integrity:

  • End corporate capture of policy.
  • Require transparent budgets and balanced-spending targets.

V. SUSTAINABILITY: Cultural and Civic Renewal

Objective: Inspire a national reawakening of civic responsibility and shared purpose.


Actions:

  • Launch “The Citizen’s Oath” - a voluntary pledge for all Americans to recommit to constitutional principles, personal integrity, and service.
  • Make educational materials available to every citizen to educate the public about constitutional mechanics, checks and balances, and economic citizenship.
  • Promote service over slogans - connecting local volunteerism, peace core, ameri core, military service and community aid as civic models.
