Here’s a comprehensive list of positions our campaign is looking to fill .


1. Campaign Manager

  • Oversees all operations — budget, staff, scheduling, strategy, compliance.
  • Ensures coordination between field, communications, and finance teams.
  • Acts as John’s primary day-to-day advisor on logistics and execution.
     

2. Deputy Campaign Manager

  • Handles internal team management, timelines, and reporting.
  • Supervises staff meetings, cross-team communication, and issue tracking.
     

3. Chief of Staff (Political & Legislative Liaison)

  • Aligns campaign positions with long-term governance priorities.
  • Liaison to policy advisors, former elected officials, and endorsement networks.
     

4. Strategy Director / Senior Advisor

  • Develops overall campaign roadmap and sequencing (launch → expansion → GOTV).
  • Identifies key counties, demographics, and cross-partisan outreach opportunities.
     

5. Data Director

  • Builds and maintains the 88-county data model, integrating voter data, census data, and campaign input scoring. 
  • Tracks Constituent Score System data for transparency dashboard.
     

6. Polling & Research Lead

  • Conducts voter research, focus groups, and issue mapping to refine messaging. 
  • Provides weekly reports on sentiment shifts and regional priorities.
     

7. Communications Director

  • Shapes campaign message, tone, and brand voice. 
  • Oversees press relations, earned media, crisis response, and public statements.
     

8. Press Secretary / Media Liaison

  • Manages interviews, press releases, and responses to public inquiries. 
  • Builds relationships with local and regional media outlets.
     

9. Creative Director / Content Lead

  • Designs all campaign materials (website, graphics, handouts, signage). 
  • Maintains brand consistency across all 88 counties. 
  • Creates print and event materials since the campaign avoids social media.
     

10. Field Director

  • Plans and executes the “Five Events per County” initiative. 
  • Oversees regional field organizers and volunteer coordinators. 
  • Tracks attendance, engagement, and feedback by county.
     

11. Regional Organizers (6–10 total)

  • Divide Ohio into major regions (e.g., Northwest, Northeast, Central, Southeast, Southwest). 
  • Recruit volunteers, coordinate logistics, and report top local issues.
     

12. Volunteer Coordinator

  • Builds and trains county-level volunteer teams. 
  • Manages event staffing, canvassing schedules, and community partnerships.
     

13. Constituency Outreach Director

  • Focuses on building relationships with farmers, veterans, small businesses, educators, and faith communities. 
  • Ensures diverse representation in campaign listening sessions.
     

14. Constituent Feedback Director

  • Operates the Constituent Score System - logs all citizen and organization inputs. 
  • Publishes weekly score summaries and voting feedback updates.
     

15. Event Logistics Manager

  • Coordinates locations, permits, travel, staging, and scheduling for statewide events. 
  • Ensures consistent event experience and accessibility across urban/rural venues.
     

16. Finance Director

  • Manages small-donor fundraising programs and transparent financial reporting. 
  • Ensures compliance with FEC regulations and campaign finance limits. 
  • Implements strict donor screening in line with “no donations from entities over $1M revenue” rule.
     

17. Compliance Officer / Treasurer

  • Tracks contributions, disbursements, and FEC filings. 
  • Reviews all expenditures for compliance and public reporting.
     

18. Operations Manager

  • Manages campaign budget, payroll, vendor contracts, and procurement. 
  • Oversees office logistics and campaign equipment across regions.
     

19. Policy Director

  • Leads development of Core Non-Negotiable Principles, Constituent-Guided Priorities, and Proposed Amendments. 
  • Coordinates white papers and legislative drafting with legal team.
     

20. Legal Counsel

  • Advises on election law, ballot access, and compliance with state and federal regulations. 
  • Prepares amendment and ethics reform language for public release.
     

21. Advisory Council

  • Nonpartisan experts in law, economics, ethics, defense, and energy who vet proposed legislation and reforms. 
  • Provides independent credibility and technical validation.
     


22. Coalition Director

  • Builds partnerships with independent candidates running for U.S. House, state legislature, and local offices. 
  • Facilitates the First Principles Network for coordination on impeachment and reform initiatives.
     

23. Civic Engagement & Education Lead

  • Runs public workshops on constitutional literacy, civic engagement, and how the scoring system works.
     

24. Tech and Security Director

  • Builds and secures campaign website and the real-time public data dashboard. 
  • Ensures privacy and protection of constituent data. 
  • Oversees digital tools for event management and input tracking.
     

25. Data Transparency Officer

  • Publishes campaign finances, schedules, and constituent interaction summaries weekly. 
  • Audits transparency compliance for credibility and trust.
     

26. Faith & Values Outreach Advisor

  • Ensures respectful, inclusive engagement on moral, religious, and cultural topics across communities. 


27. Rural Infrastructure Coordinator

  • Focuses on broadband access, rural energy development, and transportation equity in underserved regions. 


28. Veterans & Service Member Liaison

  • Coordinates outreach for military families and veterans’ healthcare, housing, and employment support.


29. Economic Policy Fellow

  • Develops targeted manufacturing, innovation, and small business policy proposals specific to Ohio’s regional economies.
